In keeping with Nepal’s ancient tradition of gracious hospitality and the revered philosophy of “Atithi Devo Bhava”— on behalf of the Nepal Radiologists’ Association (NRA), it is with profound honor and heartfelt pleasure that I extend a warm and respectful welcome to all delegates, faculty members, and distinguished guests to the 8th Radiology Annual Conference of NRA – RADCON 2026, held in conjunction with the 1st BIMSTEC Level Radiology Conference & in collaboration with Nepalese Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (NSVIR), to take place in the historic city of Kathmandu, Nepal, from April 9–11, 2026.

RADCON 2026 is centered on the timely and forward-looking theme, “The Radiologist as the Clinical Navigator: Breaking Cross-Border Imaging Barriers”. The conference theme embodies the evolving responsibility of radiologists as vital partners in clinical decision-making and leaders in multidisciplinary patient-centred care as well as catalysts for regional cooperation. It underscores our shared commitment to transcending geographical boundaries through knowledge exchange, technological advancement, and collective professional excellence across BIMSTEC nations.
RADCON 2026 represents a significant academic and collaborative milestone, bringing together eminent national and international faculty, clinicians, researchers, and industry partners for an enriching scientific program comprising keynote addresses, plenary sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops. This gathering aspires to foster intellectual discourse, strengthen regional bonds, and inspire future directions in radiology.
